Clarkston, Georgia is a hidden gem of a city. A city that is the size of a small town at one square mile and a big city feel as the most diverse city in Georgia! Come walk through Clarkston to get to know it up close and in a personal way. Meet local residents, learns community focal points, and experience culture through food and art. Learn about the history of the city and how it has adapted to embrace the residents of today.
Parking
The meeting address where we will begin the tour is at the Clarkston Community Center. Parking is in a shared parking lot with the public library, 951 N. Indian Creek Drive. Please note this address. Otherwise you’ll end up parking in front of the community center, street parking.
****The Walking Tour of Clarkston includes a guided tour, a food and beverage stops at local restaurants and cafes, an art stop and a local guest speaker.

Cancelation Policy- We encourage anyone who signed up to attend another scheduled event, we will provide a rain check. For those travelling to Atlanta, you are refunded less a $5.00 per person cancellation fee when canceled at least 48 hours in advance. If the tour is cancelled due to weather you will receive a 100% refund.
Logistics- For each tour a designated tour launch pad will be listed, we will include information regarding parking, transit, and driving. Tours are generally, 2.5 hours and if longer, the time will be listed.
Gear- We will provide a helmet if you are renting a bicycle from us. You are welcome to bring your own. If you are bringing your own bicycle, kindly bring your helmet. Although water and a snack bar will be provided and each tour has a stop at a local business for a refreshing or warming drink, bring anything you need to be comfortable during the ride. That includes additional foods and/ or drinks, sunglasses, sunscreen, clothing that is specific to the weather. Dress in a comfortable manner, athletic wear is not required. Finally, provide us with any necessary medical information in advance.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?Civil Bikes is all-ages tours and events, but there are age restrictions on certain events. Everyone, regardless of age, should carry a valid, government-issued ID with them. It is more important that individuals are able to ride a bicycle for bike events and will follow safety rules we will review the following at the beginning of any ride or event. Additionally, for any tours that will included alcohol, it will be notated and any participant must be 21 or over.
